Come to the Mad River Valley for a most unusual vacation. Tour our mountains, meadows, and forests on one of the oldest horse breeds in the world. The tireless and efficient movement of the Icelandic Horse makes it the ideal saddle horse, seeming to dance effortlessly over the earth with lightness and power.

The Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm is near the historic village of Waitsfield, in the heart of the Sugarbush resort area. We offer full-day and half-day trail rides as well as two- to six-day treks on four- and five-gaited Icelandic Horses.

Rides and treks are by advance reservation, but you're welcome to come visit our farm any time and see these extraordinary horses.

We invite you to call us and make a date for a most extraordinary ride!

Central Oregon Daily featured us and said, "Vermont in the fall can't be beat."

USA Today calls us one of "10 great places to go horseback riding."
